CSR Policy

I. Introduction

TapMind believes that responsible businesses have an important role to play in contributing to the wellbeing of society and the communities in which they operate. As part of its commitment to responsible and sustainable growth, TapMind undertakes Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives that support community development, public infrastructure and social welfare.

This policy outlines the guiding principles, governance framework and focus areas through which TapMind plans and implements its CSR initiatives. It applies to all CSR activities undertaken by the company either directly or through approved implementation partners.

II. What is Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

  1. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) refers to a company’s commitment to operate ethically while contributing positively to economic development and improving the quality of life of communities and society at large.
  2. CSR initiatives enable organizations to support social causes, strengthen communities, and contribute to environmental and civic wellbeing beyond their core business activities.
  3. Through CSR, companies can create meaningful and sustainable impact by supporting initiatives related to community development, public welfare, education, sustainability, and infrastructure.

III. Regulatory Context

Corporate Social Responsibility in India is governed by Section 135 of the Companies Act, 2013, along with the Companies (CSR Policy) Rules.

Under these provisions, companies meeting certain financial thresholds are required to undertake CSR initiatives and allocate at least 2% of the average net profits of the preceding three financial years toward CSR activities.

These thresholds include companies that have:

  • Net worth of ₹500 crore or more
  • Annual turnover of ₹1000 crore or more
  • Net profit of ₹5 crore or more

TapMind falls within the scope of these provisions due to its profitability threshold and therefore undertakes CSR initiatives in accordance with applicable regulations.

Where applicable, CSR activities may be implemented through eligible entities or structures in compliance with the provisions of Section 135 of the Companies Act, 2013 and related rules.
